The Cleveland
Arts Prize will open Tuesday through February 28th for nominations in
music and dance, visual art, literature and design. For 2006, the
awards have been restructured to honor one emerging artist and two
midcareer artists with cash prizes. Candidates must have significantly
contributed to the cultural vitality of Northeast Ohio. Additional
nominees are being sought for the Lifetime Achievement Award in
the Arts, the Martha Joseph Special Citation for Distinguished Service
to the Arts and the Robert P. Bergman Prize for passionate leadership
in expanding an arts field. Winners will be announced in July. For
